Bio

Hans P. Reiser is an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department, Reykjavik University, Iceland. He is also an affiliate member of the University of Passau, Germany.

He graduated in computer science from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and holds a PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) in the field of fault-tolerant distributed systems from Ulm University. Prior to joining Reykjavik University, he served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Lisbon, Portugal, and the University of Passau, Germany. He has also spent a semester as a visiting professor at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA, and another semester as a visiting full professor at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.
